Avidicare is proud to announce that the prestigious Queen Silvia Children’s Hospital in Gothenburg, Sweden have installed Opragon. By suppling the innovative Opragon ventilation systems to several operating and hybrid operating rooms the aim is to reduce the risk for Surgical Site Infections, and to create a comfortable and safe environment for both patients and staff.
The hospital has invested to be in the forefront of care, including having the lowest risks of hospital acquired infections. The Opragon OR ventilation system from Avidicare is installed to deliver ultra-clean air for their new operating theaters, which were inaugurated in October 2021.
The Queen Silvia Children’s Hospital is focused on advanced pediatric care, clinical research, and training. The surgical and intensive care units are designed for the use of advanced medical technology with the capability to handle complicated and staff intensive surgeries. The operating theaters are designed to provide a comfortable working environment with a large and flexible area in terms of temperature and lightning and to reduce draught and noise.

The Avidicare Opragon system has been used for five state-of-the-art operating rooms and two hybrid rooms for image guided therapy.
